Overview Space Work is selecting an Engineer in Automation for a prestigious multinational client operating in precision mechanics. Position The selected resource will join a multidisciplinary team (electronics, software, mechanics) and be involved in developing advanced solutions for predictive diagnostics and real‑time control of complex mechanical systems. The role involves technical and project activities related to integrating and using sensors for measuring and analyzing physical parameters. Responsibilities Design and selection of sensors for measuring physical parameters (e.g., vibrations, temperature, deformations, pressures) on complex mechanical systems. Support physical and electronic integration of sensors on complex platforms, including weapons or subsystems. Define and implement functional and calibration tests for sensors. Collaborate on designing embedded systems for signal acquisition and processing. Analyze, validate, and interpret data acquired in synergy with the software/data analysis team. Prepare technical documentation: technical specifications, test reports, operational manuals. Collaborate cross‑functional with other company departments to ensure compliance with technical regulations and applicable military or civil standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering. Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers. Experience in designing analog and digital electronic boards; preference for low‑power systems. Knowledge and ability to integrate MEMS sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers) into embedded systems. Familiarity with main communication protocols: I²C, SPI, UART, USB and wireless (Bluetooth Classic/LE). Knowledge of RFID modules (HF, UHF) integration in embedded systems. Experience with PCB design tools (preferably KiCad). Basic 3D solid modeling knowledge, ideally with Siemens NX. Good technical English (written and spoken).
