For a direct hire in Saipem, we are looking for a Loss Prevention Lead with experience in all or part of the activities detailed below and the capability to manage and solve, independently, various interdisciplinary issues that may occur during the project engineering activities.
**Main activities and Responsibilities**:
Analysis of project contractual requirements/standards and design criteria or philosophies applicable to the activities to be performed
Support and cooperate in the execution of the project activities, especially during the engineering phase of the project
Collaborate and develop Functional Safety Activities Lifecycle, in compliance with international standard IEC 61508 / 61511
Assist the project management and engineering team in risk management processes such as:
- Hazid, Hazop, Envid, and related follow up process
- LOPA, BowTie
- Functional Safety Lifecycle
- Human Factor Engineering
- Project Technical Integrity Lifecycle.
Perform Risk Assessment identifying accidental events and scenarios, assessing risk level against acceptability criteria
Provide input to all technical disciplines to ensure a safe and operable facility operation according to contractual and safety requirements, reviewing also the deliverables issued by other departments
Coordinate subcontracted Technical Safety activities and control subcontracted Technical Safety documents
**Requirements**:
Technical and Process Safety professional experience and references in Risk Management and Analysis, especially in Functional Safety activities, developed in project execution on Oil&
Gas Fields, LNG Plants, FPSO/FLNG, Refinery and Gas Monetization Plants.
Capability to develop specific technical solutions but also good interpersonal and communicational skills are appreciated.
A fluent knowledge of English and availability to short travels abroad are compulsory requirement.
**Other skills**:
MS Office and particular risk analysis software tools are preferential.
International Certificate on Functional Safety Certification Program (FSCP):
Engineer / Professional / Expert is highly appreciated.
