Job Description Finance Assistant working closely with the hotel manager to oversee financial operations, including invoice management, cash flow monitoring, and accounting support for Mama Shelter hotels. Responsibilities Act as the finance officer, managing invoices and overall cash flow for the establishment. Oversee customer invoice processes, including handling complaints, disputes, and chargebacks. Provide administrative and accounting follow‐up, develop the general ledger, and validate cash registers and accounts receivable. Support revenue optimization by preparing and analyzing reports for management at headquarters. Maintain good internal control practices and ensure compliance with company policies. Qualifications Strong numeracy skills and a passion for working with numbers. Excellent teamwork abilities: available, attentive, and proactive in collaborating with colleagues. Autonomous and capable of working independently. Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks without becoming overwhelmed. Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting. Committed to confidentiality; information shared within Mama remains confidential. Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced reporting functionalities. Desired Extras Experience with Protel and ACOM software. Good sense of humor and a positive attitude towards detailed work. Ability to explain and teach financial concepts effectively.
