PpSécheron Hasler Italia is seeking an Engineer to join the Integration Verification Testing Department as a Test Engineer. The selected candidate will work closely with the IVT Manager and Product Integrity Manager, contributing, to writing test cases and carry out functional testing on electronic devices for use in the railway sector. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liAnalysis of system functional requirements and software functional requirements. /li liDevelopment of test strategies to be applied according to the specific level required (distributed system, device, electronic board). /li liDefinition of test specifications (test cases), with the possibility of using automated management tools. /li liDevelopment of scripts, subroutines and/or programmes written in high‑level language for automated test execution, where applicable. /li liDefinition of the test bench and coordination of its implementation, with the support of hardware and software resources available in‑house or externally. /li liCreation of test documentation (test plan, test procedures, test reports). /li liExecution of tests and drafting of reports, assisted by integrated management systems (e.g. Polarion tools). /li liTracking of test cases on covered requirements. /li liIdentification of bugs, their classification into major and minor issues, reporting in management systems (e.g. issue tracking management Redmine, Bugzilla). /li liReporting on the progress of tests. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in computer engineering, electronics, telecommunications or equivalent. /li liAt least 2 years' experience in the industrial sector. /li liGood knowledge of written and spoken English (preferred B1 level). /li liMinimum experience in software design and/or testing of electronic equipment, preferably in the railway, automotive or industrial automation sectors. /li liUse of basic electronic laboratory measurement equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter). /li liKnowledge of instrumentation interfacing and remote control systems (e.g. SCPI protocol) is an advantage. /li liKnowledge of instrumentation interfacing and remote control systems (e.g. SCPI protocol) is preferred. /li liKnowledge of NI's LabView test development system, or the Python scripting language and the programming languages of the MS Visual Studio suite, is required. /li liKnowledge of the Linux operating system is preferred. /li liKnowledge of the LabVIEW development system is preferred. /li liKnowledge of industry standards and/or product regulations electronic equipment for the railway, automotive or industrial automation sectors. /li liKnowledge of the main industrial field buses Ethernet, serial, CAN, Profibus, MVB. /li liKnowledge of scripting languages. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liTeam‑oriented mindset and goal‑driven approach. /li liWillingness to travel short distances for training and coordination with the group's European units. /li liSolid IT skills. /li /ul h3BENEFITS /h3 ul liinterest work experience in an international company /li lipossibility of travelling /li liprofessional and career growth within the Italian and parent company /li /ul pWe give our employees full responsibility for their work tasks.
