We are looking for a: Aeronautical Structure Designer
Site: Torino / Venegono Superiore / Pomigliano D’Arco
Responsabilities:
Composite and metallic Primary Structure Designer by means of CAD models and 2D drawings development
Main Activities:
1. Analysis of requirements defined Interface Control Documents
2. Space allocation model of primary structure parts contributing to definition of the Aircraft Digital Mock-Up
3. Stressed Layouts for sizing of primary structure
4. Analysis of installability of the designed installations
5. Use of composite design specific software, preferred Fibersim
6. Release of drawings of composite and metallic detail such as skins, stringers, panels, frames, ribs, fittings, etc.
7. Release of drawings of assemblies and installations
Main Outputs:
8. Catia v5 3D Models
9. Catia v5 2D drawings or Model Based Design
10. Part List defining materials, standard parts, processes, finishing, installation notes
Main Interfaces:
11. System Installation Designers for interfaces with secondary structure
12. Stress Analysts for sizing of structural components
13. Aerodynamics verifications on external components
14. Manufacturing Engineering for concurrence during development phase
15. Partner Designers for interface definition between Aircarft sections/barrels
Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.
Seniority: Junior, 0 -3 years of experience
Requirements:
16. Knowledge of mechanical engineering (drawings, processes)
17. Preferred experience in CAD modelling for Aerospace
18. Skills with CAD software Catiav5
