If so, we're interested in you! /p pOur OMLP program is designed to fast-track the development of entry-level talent, coaching them into capable leaders who can tackle the challenges in our Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions at Avio Aero. /p pWe offer a permanent contract for this role. /p h3bJob Description /b /h3 pbEssential Responsibilities /b /p pOMLP is a 2-year development program consisting of: /p ul liThree 8-months rotational assignments that allow members to have hands-on leadership experience and build supply chain technical management skills across Avio Aero’s plants in Italy /li liGlobal trainings to become proficient in lean operations supply chain management /li liLeadership Personal Development coursework to develop leadership skills and build connections with GE Aerospace Development Program members throughout the world /li /ul pThere are 3 mandatory rotational assignment that every OMLP will undertake. Typically, they include: /p ul liTechnical (e.g., quality engineer, manufacturing engineer) /li liSourcing/Materials Management (e.g., buyer, contracts administrator, logistics specialist) /li liShop Operations Supervisor(i.e., people leader of shopfloor operators) /li /ul pDuring these rotations, an OMLP typically will: /p ul liCollaborate with their Assignment Leader in setting and achieving realistic and challenging goals /li liPlan and perform assigned tasks aligned to the business’s priorities and core tenets of safety, quality, inventory, and productivity (SQDC) /li liDemonstrate ability to understand and apply operational and technical fundamentals in the business environment using analytical and problem-solving skills /li liDevelop cooperation and teamwork while leading diverse groups in the development and implementation of team goals /li liGenerate innovative ideas and apply change best practices to ensure impact of key initiatives /li liParticipate in a Kaizen events and learn apply lean with a focus on continuous improvement /li /ul pOMLP Program graduates are expected to be advanced in supply chain operations and project management with experiential growth in lean principles. These skillsets will position graduates to compete on a series of challenging roles driving business results and progressing as leaders in Avio Aero. /p pN.B. Domestic relocation is required while on program. /p pbQualifications/Requirements /b /p ul liMaster’s Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Materials Engineering from an accredited University or college /li liPrevious junior experience (e.g., co-op, intern), preferably in manufacturing/Global Supply Chain /li liEnglish and Italian fluency, written and verbal /li liGeographic flexibility and global mindset with a willingness and ability to work in any of Avio Aero’s 5 manufacturing locations /li liKnowledge of technical drawings /li liDeep passion for aviation/aerospace plus strong commitment for a career in Global Supply Chain /li liStrong oral and written communication skills /liliStrong interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with the ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency humility /li liStrong curiosity to learn /li liAble to own a/o coordinate many tasks concurrentlywith high execution follow-through /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skillswith the ability to breakdown the issues and formulate plans to address and rectify situations in afast-pacedenvironment /li liAbility to solve problems and make meaningful change benefiting our customers, people, and organisation in a team/manufacturing environment /li liWork VISA, according to local regulation, is required /li /ul pbDesired Characteristics /b /p ul liPrevious study or working experience abroad will be considered as a plus /li liPrevious work experience in aviation/aerospace will be considered as a plus /li /ul pbTotal Rewards /b /p pAt Avio Aero, we understand the importance of Total Rewards.
