Our procurement function plays a crucial role in ensuring business operations run efficiently and cost‑effectively. As part of a global procurement team, you will own the sourcing of chemicals for a pivotal business unit and help us achieve best‑in‑class category management.
Responsibilities
* Manage the procurement of chemicals for the Business Unit, focusing on global commodity strategy execution.
* Foster long‑term partnerships with suppliers, serving as their focal point for visits, business reviews and negotiations.
* Manage order processing workflow and strategic stock management in alignment with the production plan.
* Maintain effective relationships and communication with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality and Finance.
* Prepare and conduct negotiations with regarding commercial terms, payment conditions and delivery terms in collaboration with Regional and Global Commodity Managers.
* Prepare and analyse performance, risk and sustainability reports for business meetings.
* Conduct comparative analysis of supplier capabilities and cost drivers to improve spending efficiency and effectiveness for raw materials.
* Support the execution and tracking of innovation and sustainability projects in line with business and ESG targets.
Qualifications
* Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
* 2‑5 years of experience in a similar role in Procurement, Planning or Supply Chain.
* Passion and interest in the Procurement area.
* Negotiation and cost‑benefit analysis skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, analytical approach, project management skills.
* Drive and initiative, high energy, and ability to adapt to changing environments.
* Eagerness to work in a team and foster partnerships across departments in an international environment.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Fluency in Italian and English.
