About the job We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team. Responsibilities: Partner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend software Design and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools features Performance of day-by-day bug fixing Minimum qualifications: 3+ years of experience Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Good Knowledge of Spring Framework Good knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plus Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly Being fluent in English, both written and spoken. Preferred qualifications: Experience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loads Knowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka) Knowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plus More on qualifications: You are comfortable working independently, while functioning as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, dialogue, development, learning, and growth.
