Experteer OverviewAs a Cloud Design Engineer, you will shape the Telco Cloud infrastructure strategy for Vodafone across Italy and select markets, enabling a cloud-ready and cloud-native platform for network as a service.
You'll own the design and deployment of virtualization and cloud infrastructure focused on VMware NFV/SDN and RedHat OpenShift, balancing capacity, security, resiliency, and automation.
You will collaborate with the VNF/CNF onboarding team to automate end-to-end integrations and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
This role offers impact at scale within a global Cloud Engineering function and exposure to cutting-edge telco cloud technologies.

ResponsabilitàDegree qualified
At least 4 years of professional experience in cloud and virtualization
Expertise in data centre infrastructure, cloud computing and virtualization (IT and Telco)
Solid understanding xlwpduy of virtualization (VMware/OpenShift) and containerization (Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP/ISIS/OSPF)
Experience with Kubernetes networking (CNIs, Service Mesh, Network Policies, Ingress/Egress)
Experience with Network Load Balancers and Firewalls
Experience in IPv6 design and implementationScripting skills preferred (PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python)
