Within the Procurement Department, the Purchasing Material Buyer is responsible of the purchasing activities of assigned Purchase Requisitions in compliance with Corporate and Project Procedures and under the supervision of the Purchasing Group Leader. Main Responsibilities: Preparation of bidder listsOrganize and run tenders leveraging also e-Procurement SystemEconomic and contractual negotiation of orders and associated purchasing terms and conditionsPerform Economical Bid Evaluation and propose awardingCooperate with Project Teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extra budgets and proposing mitigation actionsSecure compliance with internal procedures and protocolsSupport and cooperate with the Project Procurement Manager / Coordinator during the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem with Vendors (such as claims, change order request, Liquidated Damages discussion, etc.) Required Skills: 4/5 years of Purchasing experienceExperience in operating in international challenging environmentExperience in-end-to end tender management (RFx Process). E-procurement systems knowledge is a plus. xpavfwm Design experience in engineering departments is a plusExperience in prepare and execute negotiation with suppliers both on costs and contracts Terms & ConditionsSAP knowledge for supplies managementExperience in contract preparationAbility to interface and manage Internal StakeholdersAbility to manage multiple prioritiesProblem solving skills and ability to resolve conflicting situationsStrong written and verbal communication skills in the English languageTeam player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationshipsGood computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications and SAPAvailability to travel for short period in Italy and abroad.
