We were meant to fly. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve high volumes production of complex aircraft engine components. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to achieve your goals, collaborating with your peers to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high yield, minimize risk of deviation/scrap and meet required production rates. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and validate manufacturing router and documentation according to company procedures and customer requirements /li liProvide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products /li liApply Design for Manufacturing principles working with a cross functional team to ensure 6-sigma process capability and stable process /li liWork with manufacturing engineering peers and manufacturing shop personnel to validate processes, tools, equipment /li liDesign and validate fixtures, tooling and equipment for production and new product development /li liCoordinate with outside vendors that may be contracted to build production equipments and/or farm-out machining operations /li liDetermine safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of production /li liPursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areas /li liAssist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective actions /li liAccountable for attaining all aspects of production operations, including safety, quality, First Time Yield and productivity /li liPrevious experience as Manufacturing Engineer. /li /ul h3Qualifications / Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Engineering /li liGood knowledge in the interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes /li liFluent in English and Italian /li liEU work permit /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liSix Sigma training is preferred /li liSelf-starter and clear thinker. /li liGood knowledge of cutting technologies /li liGood knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) system /li liHumility, Transparency and Focus behaviors /li liInclusiveness and ability to effectively work in team /li liStrong interpersonal and communication skills /li liAbility to make data driven decisions, cause-effect analysis and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 h3Smart working and work life-balance /h3 pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
