Technical Sales Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs.
* Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs, including both product and service-related support.
* Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs, and establish customer rapport with products and services.
* Work with all facets of the customer's organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training.
* Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization.
* Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback.
* Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs
* Support all product and business promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or R&D departments.
* Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
* Knowledge and understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills (English and one European language).
* Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
* Frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Prior work experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
* Knowledge of the Chinese language is beneficial but not required.
