About the Role: Utility Solution Manager (Pre-Sales / Technical Solutions) The Utility Solution Manager is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support for utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects, with a strong focus on ground-mounted project solutions, bid analysis, and system design. The role also requires strong market and technology trend insights to support solution competitiveness and strategic decision‑making. Responsibilities:
Provide pre-sales technical support for utility‑scale ground‑mounted solar PV and energy storage projects, including system architecture design and solution development. Independently undertake bid document interpretation, technical clarification, and complete solution output, including system configuration, technical proposals, and tender documents. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, system solutions, and responses to customer technical inquiries during bidding and negotiation phases. Support awarded projects during pre‑sales and execution stages, coordinating technical requirements with internal delivery and engineering teams. Continuously track and analyze market and technology trends, industry innovations, policy developments, and customer requirements to support competitive solution development and strategic planning. Provide market and technology insights to internal teams, contributing to product positioning, solution strategy, and go‑to‑market planning. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support for customer engagement, solution positioning, and market promotion. Lead product market access activities, including local certifications, grid compliance, medium‑voltage requirements, and listing standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in utility‑scale ground‑mounted projects, including ground‑mounted PV‑only and ground‑mounted energy storage projects. Strong technical familiarity with inverters, medium‑voltage systems, and energy storage systems, with the ability to independently design solutions. Ability to independently interpret tender documents and deliver complete technical solutions for utility‑scale projects. Familiarity with mainstream domestic and international PV and energy storage solution providers. Strong market awareness and ability to generate insights on industry and technology trends in the solar and energy storage sectors. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related disciplines. 3–5 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution engineering, or technical support roles for PV and energy storage systems. Strong technical documentation, communication, and multi‑project management skills.
