What you will do
tesa, one of the world's leading manufacturers of self‐adhesive products and system solutions, is strengthening its Technical team and is looking for two Junior Project Engineers to join its plant in Solbiate con Cagno (Italy).
Working closely with multiple company functions (process engineering, maintenance, production, logistics, quality, safety, energy and facility engineering), you will be involved in strategic industrial projects aimed at ensuring optimized efficiency, production capacity and technological development of the plant.
Your role will focus both on feasibility studies and the implementation of new investments in plants and machinery, as well as on the technical upgrading of existing equipment.
As a Junior Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and understanding production process performance indicators (OEE, scrap, productivity, deviations from standards, non‐conformities and complaints), and proposing and implementing technical improvement actions
Supporting the supervision of maintenance activities and the updating of maintenance documentation, contributing to efficient and reliable plant operation
Supporting feasibility analyses, cost estimation and return‐on‐investment evaluations, as well as preparing investment proposal packages.
Supporting project execution through all phases, from assessing impacts on safety, quality and operations to the handover of new machines or plants to production
Defining project plans, identifying risks and criticalities, and preparing documentation for testing and acceptance
Ensuring structured and regular communication on project progress to management
What you will need
Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation or Mechanical Engineering
1–2 years of experience in similar roles (including structured internships or traineeships)
Knowledge and use of technical drawing tools
Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
Basic knowledge of PLC systems is considered a plus
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
Knowledge of risk analysis techniques and FMEA methodology is considered a plus
Strong analytical skills, structured approach and continuous improvement mindset
Proactive attitude, ability to set priorities and work effectively in a team
Good problem‐solving skills
Good command of English (B2 level)
Good command of Italian (B2 level)
