Acting as a finance partner to Operations, Productand Supply Chain teams, the Industrial Controller supports performance monitoring, value creation initiatives andmargin optimisation supporting in addition to SM Finance, the Finance Director too.RESPONSIBILITIESIndustrial Controlling & Performance AnalysisSupport industrial controlling activities for Burberry Tecnica – OTW.Prepare and analyse cost, margin and performance reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Perform monthly variance analysis versus budget and forecast, highlighting key drivers and risks.Support standard costing reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in the costing process.Month End activitiesSupport SM to manage month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlinesPerform account reconciliations (balance sheet & P&L) and analyze key variances versus budget and forecastAnalyze industrial costs (production, raw materials, variances) and support inventory valuation processesPrepare monthly reporting and provide management with insights on operational performance and marginsPlanning, Budgeting & ForecastingSupport Contribute to Budget and ForecastSupport seasonal forecasts by providing product costing and margin impact analysis.Monitor performance versus plan and support the variance analysisBusiness Partnering & Stakeholder SupportAct as finance partner for Operations, Supply Chain and Product teams within Burberry Tecnica.Support analysis of suppliers and partners, including cost structures and performance monitoring.Provide financial insights to support sourcing decisions and operational trade-offs.Process Improvement & Reporting ToolsContribute to process simplification and standardisation initiatives within Industrial Controlling.Support the use and development of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).Participate in automation and data quality improvement initiativesPERSONAL PROFILEMaster’s degree in Economics, Finance or similar2-4 years experience in the roleStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage and interpret complex dataAbility to interact effectively with non-finance stakeholdersCommercial mindset and understanding of cost and margin dynamicsExperience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI preferred)Previous exposure to industrial, supply chain or product controlling is a plusFOOTERBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.Posting Notes: Italy || Not Applicable || Turin || FINANCE & OPERATIONS || COMMERCIAL FINANCE || n/a ||Want to know more about working at Burberry?
