Yusen Logistics Italy is looking for a Solution Design Manager.MAIN SCOPEStudy of logistics processes, time, methods and related costs to define pricing; Design of highly complex logistics solutions; Support in implementation; Support for data analysis (KPI, QBR, process improvement)The resource will report to the Senior CLT Sales ManagerMAIN TASKSNew Business project design to produce profitable logistic projects in line with company targets Design innovative, scalable logistics solutions for retail, fashion, and eCommerce customers; Data Crunch;High level project assessmentConduct process analysis, operational flow mapping and cost modelling, preparing business cases and feasibility studiesSupport the commercial team during RFQ/RFI/RFP processes by developing tailored technical proposals and solutionsProject management to guarantee the best alignment between solution designed and customer expectations:Coordinate complex projects, managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholdersOversee project start-up phases, ensuring smooth transition from design to operational implementation.Kaizen and Innovation to be the expert point of contact driving improvements, quality and sustainability:Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and post go-live performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvementStay up to date on market trends, technologies, and best practices, with a strong focus on automation, digitalization, and supply chain sustainabilityQUALIFICATONSLevel of education: degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain and managementExperience: +5 years of experience in similar roles or in contract logistics operationsSKILLSFamiliarity with warehousing costing modelsDeep understanding of warehouse management system (WMS)Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and Power PointAdvanced Knowledge of AutoCAD or similarFluent in EnglishJob search is open to candidates of all genders in accordance with Law 903/77 and Law 125/91
