UPS is seeking a highly organized and service‑oriented HR Generalist to support a wide range of people operations during a maternity leave cover. This role will contribute to the smooth running of key HR processes, ensuring operational excellence and a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate core stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment follow‑up, offer communication, documentation collection, hiring and onboarding.
* Recruitment and onboarding (candidate screening, first contacts, interviews, offers preparation, document collection).
* Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accurate data submission in a defined area of responsibility.
* Support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and Collective Agreements.
* Support the administration and planning of mandatory training, including maintaining training calendars, and preparing compliance documentation and company audits.
* Provide high‑quality front and back‑office support to employees and managers, ensuring efficient query resolution and documentation handling.
* Contribute to DE&I commitments by supporting the management and integration of employees with disabilities.
* Assist Quality Audits related to HR processes and regulatory compliance. Conduct company audits for internal compliance.
* Maintain accurate and timely HR data through Workday, ensuring consistency across all HR processes.
* Oversee mandatory health surveillance processes by liaising with medical providers, managing schedules and preparing required documentation.
* Promote a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with our organizational culture.

Profile
* University degree in HR, Labor Relations, Law or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
* High level of English and proficiency with MS Office.
* Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems is an advantage.
