Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As an integral part of the European Supply Chain operation, the Senior Manager 3PL Management plays a vital role in the roll-out of new 3PL Distribution Centers while ensuring best-in-class service from current 3PL warehouses.
This role manages external warehouse service providers to meet service level and cost targets. Developing and implementing standard KPIs for performance visibility and partnering with 3PLs to drive continuous improvements are key responsibilities. Regular performance reviews and contract negotiations support the development of a best-in-class 3PL distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage external logistics service providers for 3PL DCs in daily operations.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Order Fulfillment, Customer Fulfillment, Customer Service) and external stakeholders (3PLs and carriers) to ensure quality performance.
* Plan and review inbound and outbound volumes with relevant teams, considering capacities and priorities such as Peak, Launch, PrePack campaigns.
* Serve as POC for DC service team and interface management teams.
* Drive process improvements to enhance inbound/outbound flow efficiency, including new operational requirements.
* Act as escalation point for claims, returns, refusals, and carrier disputes, managing further escalations as needed.
* Share operational requirements during 3PL/logistics projects and support IT testing.
* Understand basic terms of 3PL contracts, including appendices.
* Support execution of SCM and 3PL management strategies.
* Lead and develop a team of experts to ensure seamless processes and foster growth mindset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Fluent in English and Italian (advantageous)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP AFS and WMS is a plus
* Deep knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes
* Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
* Reliable, accountable, results-driven, and self-motivated team player
* Project management experience (preferred)
Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred; relevant experience acceptable
* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain
