Were obsessed with how it will be done. /p pIt is absolutely necessary in order to apply to be a European citizen or to hold a valid residence permit for Europe. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liThe Senior Accountant is a hands‑on role responsible for the accurate and timely execution of financial reporting for the Italian legal entity ensuring full compliance with Italian GAAP tax regulations and corporate policies. This role serves as the in‑house expert on Italian accounting and tax regulations providing guidance and advice to the Group to support compliance and informed decision‑making. The Senior Accountant works closely with external auditors tax advisors and internal stakeholders and will be required to collaborate effectively as part of a global finance team to meet statutory deadlines maintain strong financial controls and support the operational and strategic needs of the business. /li liEnd‑to‑End Accounts Payable process including invoice processing payment runs and vendor reconciliations /li liEnd‑to‑End Accounts Receivable activities including purchase order management invoicing posting payments reconciling work in progress and monitoring aged debts /li liPrepare and set up payment runs record all bank transactions and complete timely bank reconciliations /li liRecord company credit card transactions perform reconciliations manage employee credit card agreements and issuance of cards. /li liCoordinate with the offshore shared services centre to ensure employee expense reports are processed in line with company policy and Italian regulations /li liPerform month‑end close activities including journal entries reconciliations and preparation of management accounts /li liManage the day‑to‑day relationship with external auditors and tax advisors responding to information requests and coordinating deliverables /li liPrepare statutory audit schedules and supporting documentation /li liSupport preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate income tax VAT withholding tax etc.) in partnership with external tax advisors /li liAdvise on Italian accounting and tax regulations ensuring compliance and proactively monitor regulatory updates to inform business practices /li liCoordinate the preparation and signing of corporate documents ensuring all required approvals and signatures are obtained /li liDevelop maintain and update accounting process documentation to ensure consistent and compliant execution of accounting activities /li liExecute ad hoc finance projects in line with business needs /li /ul h3Experience Qualifications /h3 ul liDiploma or bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field /li li3 to 5 years work experience in a finance position /li liFluent in English and Italian /li liExperience in statutory audit review or preparation of corporate tax returns and VAT returns /li liProficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel /li liEffective time management to meet local statutory deadlines month‑end close and audit schedules /li liExcellent communication skills in Italian and English with the ability to liaise effectively with local authorities auditors and tax advisors and global colleagues /li liProactively identify issues develop practical solutions and work independently /li liDemonstrates meticulous attention to detail /li liAbility to build relationships with internal departments /li liLa selezione rispetta il principio delle pari opportunità (L. 903 / 77) /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 pInternal Audit, Accounting Tally, General Ledger Accounting, External Audit, Microsoft Excel, PMP, Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, Payroll, Financial Reconciliation, Financial statement, Accounting and Finance, ACCA, CPA, Financial Reporting /p pWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process such as reviewing applications analyzing resumes or assessing responses.
