System Professional Services Consultant – Network Infrastructure & Monitoring
The Professional Services Consultant will support and operate application infrastructure for the monitoring, management, and operation of Juniper network products. The role requires familiarity with VMware, Linux OS, and open-source tools for network observability and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Provide expert guidance and hands-on support to operations teams to maintain service stability, performance, and security.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate closely with engineering teams, service providers, and project leadership to align designs and deployments with timelines and evolving requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Act on complex network or system incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis and resolution to protect critical services.
- Documentation & Handover: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, implementation guides, and operational runbooks to support seamless handover to operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize designs, tools, and processes, leveraging lessons learned from previous large-scale network deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in enterprise networking consulting, infrastructure support, or solution delivery, ideally in large-scale or high-availability environments (e.G., corporate, broadcast, or public sector).
- Experience working with servers, virtualization technologies, Linux OS, and open-source tools.
- Strong knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and operational support processes.
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-vendor and cross-functional teams in time-critical projects.
- Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Grafana.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting international or large-scale projects (enterprise, telecom, or service provider).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.G., Red Hat, Juniper, VMware).
- Understanding of Bash scripting, Ansible, and APIs.
Technical Competencies
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools and services.
- Ability to create and interpret network diagrams, documentation, and operational playbooks.
