Overview
At Amazon, we are seeking Team leads for our transportation team. This role is focused on shift operations at our Delivery Centers (DCs) and supporting the DC manager in performance management and driving the operational plan. We aim to be the most customer-centric company on earth and rely on talented, driven people to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities
* Defining, building and executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address
* Ensure enough bandwidth in the territorial delivery team to manage peak delivery times
* Engage closely with the delivery team, including associates, developing and maintaining a highly motivated and performance-driven team
* Continuously improve the delivery process and attainment of sustained delivery performance through process and training improvements; initiate improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work
* Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and drive improvements
* Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
Basic Qualifications
* Speak, write, and read fluently in English
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising
