MISSION
To cooperate with the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager during the Project Execution Phase in the management of the contractual relationships with Clients and involved stakeholders.
MAIN ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To have full knowledge of the contract documents, including scope of work, queries and deviations submitted during the tendering phase;
* To have a clear knowledge of the breakdown of the contract price and the logic of the project time schedule;
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in preparing the tools to be used during the Project execution, in particular: the Contract diagram, the Contract induction support material, the contract execution plan, the contract risk analysis, the Contract Management report, etc.
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in preparing the draft of the communications concerning contractual issues;
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager to keep record of the cases when client and partners do not fulfil their contractual obligations;
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager, liaising with the Project Team Members, to identify and prepare promptly the change orders to be issued to the Clients, using the Alert Cards system;
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in keeping updated the status of change orders;
* To assist the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager, liaising with the Project Team members, to analyze the negative change orders issued by Clients and prepare the required replies;
* To assist the PD/PM and the other Project Team members, in close coordination with the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager, in the analysis of topics that have any contractual aspects;
* To support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in dealing with the external lawyers, in close coordination with the Legal Affairs and Contracts Function;
* To support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in identifying the contractual provisions which must be transferred to vendors and convey such provisions to the Project Procurement Manager/Coordinator in order to finalize the Project Special Purchase Conditions;
* To support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in identifying the contractual provisions which must be transferred to subcontractors and convey such provisions to the Subcontract Administration Manager/Group Leader in order to finalize the Special Purchase Conditions for subcontracts;
* To support the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in the activities of CAR/EAR Insurance, according to the company documentation system;
* To identify together with the Subcontracts Administration Manager/Group Leader the criticalities related to the contract with Subcontractors in order to analyze the impacts on the active contract and undertake the necessary actions, in close coordination with Contract Manager and PM/PD;
* To collaborate with the Senior Contract Engineer/Contract Manager in the Risk Analysis activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Engineering;
* 1-3 years-experience in the Contract Management of a Company in Oil&Gas, Fertilizers, Energy Transition sector;
* Very good communication and team working skills and attitudes;
* Good writing skills;
* Advanced level in English - both speaking and writing;
* Available to travel in Italy and abroad.
