Overview Job Title: FEM Team Leader - Aviation Domain Company: Quest Global Job Category: Aerospace and Defense We are seeking a highly motivated FEM Team Leader with a strong technical background in Finite Element Analysis using Ansys and HyperMesh, and proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of engineers in the aerospace domain. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a team of FEM engineers working on structural analysis Plan, assign, and monitor simulation activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery Provide technical guidance and support in advanced FEA using Ansys and HyperMesh Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and customer requirements Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and project teams to support product development and optimization Mentor, coach, and evaluate performance to growth opportunities for team members Drive innovation and continuous improvement in simulation methodologies and workflows Qualifications Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Several years of hands-on experience in finite element modeling and analysis of mechanical components, preferably in aero engine, aerospace, mechanical transmissions, and industrial rotating machines (e.g., turbines, compressors, pumps) Expertise in Ansys Mechanical and HyperMesh for linear/non-linear static, dynamic, and thermal analyses Strong understanding of material models, meshing strategies, boundary conditions, and result interpretation Proven experience in leading technical teams or people management roles Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Fluent in English, both written and spoken Nice to have Experience with fatigue, fracture mechanics, and life prediction methodologies Programming/scripting skills for analysis automation (APDL, Python, etc.) Additional requirement In accordance with applicable national security regulations, this position may involve access to classified information or participation in restricted programs.
