About Orient Express Venezia at Palazzo Donà Giovannelli
Orient Express will open its second hotel in Italy at the exceptional in Venice. Architect and interior designer Aline Amar d’Amman, alongside her studio Culture in Architecture, has been entrusted to design and decorate the space. Venice, once the gateway to Constantinople and a mythical stop on the legendary Orient Express train – that opened its doors in 1919 with the completion of the Simplon tunnel linking Switzerland to Italy – will be the home of the second Orient Express hotel, set to open in 2026.
As F&B; Manager, you will oversee daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage outlets. This includes managing the F&B; team to ensure guests receive heartfelt care in their dining experience and that the business remains profitable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate all F&B; outlets including restaurants, bars, room service, banqueting, and event catering, ensuring a seamless and refined guest experience.
- Develop and execute the F&B; strategy in alignment with the hotel’s brand standards and financial objectives.
- Ensure consistent excellence in food and beverage quality, presentation, and service, with close attention to detail and innovation.
- Inspire, train, and manage F&B; teams (chefs, service staff, bartenders, etc.) to deliver exceptional service and embody a luxury hospitality mindset.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to design and update menus that reflect seasonal trends, culinary creativity, and guest preferences.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships, optimizing cost control and minimizing waste without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all F&B; operations.
- Act as a key point of contact for guests, handling feedback and resolving any issues with professionalism and discretion.
