Position Overview
Il BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer (Utility Scale) è responsabile dell'esecuzione e del supporto di ciclo di vita dei progetti di battery energy storage a grande scala dopo che l'azienda ha chiuso il contratto commerciale. Il ruolo gestisce la consegna tecnica, la commissione e il supporto operativo dei progetti BESS.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Handover from Sales / Presales: Take ownership of projects after commercial contract closure. Review project scope including:
o System design
o Grid requirements
o Performance guarantees
o Project schedules
Align with customers and internal teams on project execution strategy.
* Project Execution & Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale BESS projects. Coordinate EPC contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers. Track schedules, milestones, deliverables and ensure compliance with technical specifications, grid requirements, safety standards. Manage risks and resolve issues.
* Commissioning & Grid Integration: Oversee commissioning. System energization, grid compliance testing, performance testing. Collaborate with grid operators and technical partners for integration, ensuring successful handover to operations.
* Operations Support & Service Management: Coordinate post-commissioning support. Long-term service plans, preventive maintenance, system performance monitoring, troubleshooting. Interface with OEM technical teams for diagnostics.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Act as primary technical contact between customers, EPC contractors, OEM suppliers, internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering or related field.
* 5-10 years experience in utility-scale renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
* Experience with large-scale BESS, solar + storage, or grid infrastructure preferred.
* Strong understanding of grid integration, power systems, energy management systems, high-voltage systems.
Skills
* Strong project management and coordination skills.
* Knowledge of grid compliance and power system integration.
* Ability to manage multiple technical stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving ability.
* Willingness to travel to project sites.
