What we are looking for
Berco Aftermarket is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to optimize demand and inventory levels to maximize cash flow while ensuring high sales and service performance.
In this role, the Supply Chain Specialist supports the Aftermarket (AM) business by collecting, analyzing, and processing data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures by taking care of:
* forecast management
* demand planning
* orders management
* backorder recovery.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute product demand plans to meet organizational goals, including placing and managing supplier orders across all warehouses
Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure on‐time delivery of goods to warehouse sites
Align with factories regarding production orders and product availability
Maintain continuous communication and alignment with the Customer Service team
Address demand-related inquiries from Customer Service and Sales teams regarding product availability
Oversee demand planning and management processes for both new and existing products, including:
* Create new part numbers (PN) in SAP and ensure accurate and timely master data updates
* Manage phase‐in and phase‐out activities for product part numbers
* Set up and maintain SAP source lists and info records
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent
1-2 years of experience as demand planner in a mid-to-large company
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced multicultural organization
Proven experience in dealing with high number of products with high level of volatility and unstable lead time
Professional English level
Extremely capable in Excel
Prior experience with SAP is strongly preferred
