Basic Training Instructor B1.1 EASA Part 147 - Theoretical and/or Practical Knowledge
Aircraft Engineering Academy (AEA) is currently looking for a Training Instructor.
We are looking to join our team in Azzano San Paolo, Bergamo. The B1.1 Basic Training Instructor is responsible for delivering theoretical and/or practical training within the EASA Part-147 approved basic training program. The instructor ensures that all instruction is delivered in accordance with EASA Part-66 and Part-147 requirements, and to the standards set by the training organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and/or practical training modules for the B1.1 basic course as per approved syllabus.
- Ensure training content meets EASA standards and organizational procedures.
- Prepare, update, and improve training and examination materials in coordination with the Training Manager.
- Assess students through tests, practical tasks, and official examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and training outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to trainees.
- Assist in the scheduling and administration of examinations.
- Maintain a safe and effective learning environment during practical sessions.
- Manage practical training facilities and tooling.
Requirements
For Theoretical Instructor
- A degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering is preferred.
For Theoretical and Practical Instructor
- Hold an EASA Part-66 B1.1, B1.2, or B2 license (valid or expired).
- Hold a Military aircraft maintenance license.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance and technical training delivery.
Additional Requirements (All Roles)
- Solid knowledge and understanding of EASA Part-66 and Part-147 regulations.
- Proven experience in delivering technical training within an aviation context (e.g., high school instructor, ATO instructor, or technical trainer in the industry).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English, including technical terminology.
- A strong aptitude for teaching, particularly to young students.
