We are looking for an experienced Buyer with strong mechanical knowledge to join the Procurement team of the Engineering Business Unit of Stevanato Group.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Co‐development and independent implementation of the purchasing strategy and procurement plan
* Conducting purchasing negotiations, implementing procurement processes, and independently concluding contracts
* Continuous market observation/analysis and derivation of recommendations for action
* Supplier management (including search) and development, as well as participation in supplier audits and qualifications
* Identification and realization of savings potential
* Optimization of purchasing processes with a focus on digital transformation
* Cross‐functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management to ensure compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards
* Support to the engineering department in product industrialization activities
Qualifications
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes for metals and plastic materials
* Evaluation and proposal of alternative production processes based on product type, volumes, and cost considerations
* Hands‐on operational management combined with a strategic, forward‐looking mindset
* Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills when dealing with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Proactive attitude and results‐oriented approach
* Strong analytical and decision‐making skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Salary and contract depending on candidate's experience.
