Strategic partnerships expert

In this role, you will define and manage the partnership ecosystem for Business Banking, aligning with ING’s strategic vision. You will scout opportunities, evaluate and prioritize partnerships, and coordinate with internal teams and senior management to optimize the offering. You’ll negotiate with partners, shape requirements, and monitor performance against market trends to ensure a compelling customer proposition. This is a collaborative, cross‑functional position in a dynamic, innovative bank focused on growth and transformation.

• Collaborate with multiple departments to execute partnership setup for Business customers
• Support senior team members during partner negotiations across all phases
• Define selection criteria and manage the lifecycle of partnerships, including contract and communication strategy
• Contribute to the strategic vision of Business Banking and elevate the offering
• Monitor launched partnerships and market trends to ensure a customer‑centric proposition
• Create business cases and requirements to evolve the offering
• Participate in the design phase of partnership setup ensuring alignment with market trends and compliance with ING standards
• Collect market insights to stay responsive to dynamics

• 5+ years in banking/fintech/strategy consulting
• Proven track record in partnerships startup and management
• Strong knowledge of national and international Banking/Fintech markets, innovation trends, and competitors
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, collaborative environment and identify new opportunities
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
  ability to present to top management
