Our IT Support Engineers troubleshoot issues and improve systems to operate at our best. You will ensure our IT infrastructure meets the demands of our global business and work with the latest technology alongside leaders who are shaping warehouse environments of the future. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliSupport end-user equipment and the building’s IT infrastructure /liliAssist with network projects, such as IT setup for new Amazon buildings /liliSuggest new processes to improve IT use in operational sites /liliTrain and mentor IT technicians /li /ulh3A day in the life /h3pYou’ll be based on site and travel to other operational sites in your country, and potentially internationally, several times a month. You’ll work with remote and on-site colleagues to support IT issues, implement projects to maintain or improve IT infrastructure, and help design infrastructure for new buildings and site launches as needed. /ppNo two days are the same at Amazon. You may troubleshoot IT incidents one day and develop new IT processes the next. You’ll also train and mentor colleagues to support team development and your career growth. /ph3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliA degree in computer science or another technical subject /liliRelevant experience as an administrator of heterogeneous networks, with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based clients and servers /liliRelevant experience with networking infrastructure, system integration and working with third-party vendors /liliA valid driving licence /liliProficiency in verbal and written English and the local language /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliAdditional certifications such as ITIL, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSE) or Linux (LPIC-1, LPIC-2) /liliExperience in diagnostic and problem-solving responsibilities /liliExperience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments /liliExperience with network and internet protocols, network management and security protocols /liliExperience in IT asset management and purchasing or WLAN /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
