Ph3Job Summary /h3pThe Senior HNW CDD Specialist supports the Prudential High Net Worth (HNW) and Bermuda business. The role oversees first‑line customer due diligence activities for HNW customers, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT, sanctions, and regulatory requirements while supporting a seamless onboarding experience. It serves as the primary escalation point for complex and high‑risk customers, including trusts, family offices, offshore entities, premium financing arrangements, and UHNW ownership structures. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ullibCustomer Due Diligence Risk Assessment /bulliLead customer due diligence reviews for HNW policies, including Bermuda‑based policies. /liliConduct risk assessments and determine the appropriate level of due diligence required. /liliReview source of wealth, source of funds, beneficial ownership, and ownership structures. /liliPerform sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and jurisdictional risk screening. /liliConduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities where required. /li /ul /lilibComplex Case Review Escalation /bulliAct as the first escalation point for high‑risk and complex cases. /liliAssess trusts, family offices, premium financing arrangements, and offshore structures. /liliIdentify and escalation indicators of potential money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or sanctions concerns. /liliLiaise with Compliance and Legal teams on unusual structures or higher‑risk relationships. /li /ul /lilibGovernance Quality Assurance /bulliEnsure consistent application of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and onboarding standards. /liliConduct quality reviews on completed CDD assessments. /liliMaintain audit‑ready documentation and evidence trails. /liliSupport regulatory reviews, audits, and remediation activities. /li /ul /lilibStakeholder Coordination /bulliPartner with Case Managers to align CDD processes with onboarding workflows. /liliWork closely with Underwriters to ensure CDD requirements are satisfied prior to policy issuance. /liliLiaise with Distribution teams to clarify CDD requirements and documentation expectations. /li /ul /lilibTeam Leadership Operational Excellence /bulliProvide guidance and coaching to HNW CDD Specialists. /liliIdentify opportunities to improve CDD processes, controls, and customer experience. /liliContribute to operational projects and process enhancement initiatives. /li /ul /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity graduate, preferably in Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline. /lili7–10+ years of AML/KYC/CDD experience within insurance, private banking, wealth management, trust, or financial services environments. /liliSignificant experience assessing HNW/UHNW customers and complex ownership structures. /liliStrong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and customer risk assessment frameworks. /liliExperience reviewing trusts, family offices, premium financing arrangements, and offshore entities preferred. /liliCAMs, ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent qualification preferred. /liliStrong analytical, investigation, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills. /liliStrong judgment in balancing customer experience and risk management. /liliExperience operating within international or cross‑border HNW environments. /liliContinuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail. /liliAbility to coach and develop junior team members. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity Employment /h3pWe provide equality of opportunity of benefits for all who apply and who perform work for our organisation irrespective of sex, race, age, ethnic origin, educational, social and cultural background, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, disability or part‑time / fixed‑term work, or any other status protected by applicable law.
