Description
Under the supervision of the Host Home Administrator, the Host Home Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Candeo client admissions. Responsibilities include receiving and processing client applications, presenting them for approval, and facilitating all matching responsibilities. Ensure all activities contribute to Candeo's mission, vision, and values. The position functions independently within organizational policies, with guidance available from the Host Home Administrator.

Requirements
* BA in Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of person-centered planning and support
* Understanding of Home and Community Based Services and disability services
* Valid Iowa Driver’s License
* Proof of automobile insurance ($50K/$100K/$50K coverage)
* Valid phone and address
* Knowledge of intake and admissions process
Skills and Proficiency
* High literacy in spoken and written English
* Strong organizational skills
* Outgoing personality, first contact for Candeo
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
* Flexibility to meet organizational needs
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to travel within service counties
* Ability to pass background checks (criminal, motor vehicle, child and adult abuse, sex offender)
* Own a motor vehicle meeting safety standards and guidelines
Salary
$38,000 - $43,000 per year
