On behalf of our client, a well-established company specializing in the IT Sector, GRS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Back End Software Developer to join their Nicosia-based team. The successful candidate will be involved in the architecture design and development of the company’s software products and the delivery of customer projects internationally. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Being actively involved in the architecture design
* Developing the company’s software products (e.g., cloud native frameworks serving customers 24/7 handling transactions) and delivering customer projects internationally
* Focusing on back-end processes
* Reporting to the Development Team Leader
* Bringing new ideas to the table
* Adding new features and improving current ones
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal
* Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and principles
* In-depth understanding of web application development concepts
* Familiarity with designing transactional systems, including IT security knowledge
* Experience with designing, developing, and consuming APIs
* Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, PHP
* Knowledge of Linux System Administration and SQL is an advantage
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform App Engine deployment, Git, and Maven is an advantage
* Understanding of iOS or Android development is an advantage
