It has evolved into an international competition where ideas, practices, and improvements are shared across ABB. Through Continuous Improvement Projects based on Quality Wins and Lean Manufacturing principles, participants gain real experience while contributing to impactful results.
Gather feedback from key stakeholders involved in new products or process improvement activities.Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Develop and maintain web‐based applications that enhance process efficiency and eliminate waste.Identify and propose improvement ideas, and execute them as full projects upon approval.Document best practices and any standards implemented during the project lifecycle.Participate in a local and international competition in which university students develop a continuous improvement team project based on Quality Wins and Lean Manufacturing principles during the summer.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Management, Energy, Industrial, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Engineering, or in Physics.Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
