Are you passionate about digital twins, robotics, and advanced manufacturing simulation? Join our team as an Expert Developer for Siemens Tecnomatix Suite and help shape the future of industrial automation. We're looking for a skilled developer with strong hands-on experience in both Plant Simulation and Process Simulate, ready to take on cutting-edge projects across sectors like automotive, tire manufacturing, and logistics.
Your role
As a core technical resource, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of simulation models using the Tecnomatix platform to support decision-making, optimize operations, and validate automation systems. Projects will include:
Discrete Event Simulation (DES) of complex manufacturing systems
3D Kinematics Simulation of robotic workcells and automation equipment
Virtual commissioning of industrial automation systems (PLC/HMI interfacing)
Robotic simulation for process validation, reachability, and collision checks
Integration with external data sources and scripting/customization of models
Locations: Milan, Rome, Turin.
Expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix Suite, specifically:
Plant Simulation (including SimTalk scripting)
Process Simulate (robotics paths, logic authoring, and simulations)
Strong background in Discrete Event Simulation, Kinematics, and Virtual Commissioning
Experience with industrial robotics (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, etc.) and PLC logic is a plus
Ability to interpret technical layouts, process flows, and automation diagrams
Proficient in automation and manufacturing workflows, ideally in both discrete and continuous production processes
Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
