Your new roleFor a Big Pharma Factory we're seaking for the new CAPEX Project Scheduler who will play a critical role within the Project Delivery team, ensuring that capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects are delivered on time and within scope. This position involves the development, monitoring, and management of project schedules, ensuring alignment with customer standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project scheduling, particularly within large, multi-level, international projects in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
Your Key responsibilities:
Schedule Development ManagementDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules for various phases of the project lifecycle, ranging from master schedules to detailed level 4 schedules: In essence, your role is to develop a schedule for the client activities (OQ- PQ – PPQ – documents etc.).Facilitate interactive planning sessions to develop integrated schedules and identify potential risksIntegrate schedules with EPCM contractor schedules to create a unified project timelineChallenge and validate schedules provided by external contractors and engineering office (Design – Construction – Commissioning)
Monitoring and reportingRegularly monitor project progress against the established schedule and report any discrepancies or delays to the Project ManagerConduct schedule analysis to identify the critical path and optimize project timelinesProvide regular status updates and progress reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholdersParticipate in risk management exercises to assess the schedule impact of identified risks and develop mitigation plans
Stakeholder communicationEnsure all project team members are aware of the project schedule status, particularly at key milestones and critical milestonesLiaise with cost controller and project control lead to extract contractual milestones and produce cash flow curve (invoice forecast)Provide comprehensive schedule tool for the team to be aware of the 4/6 week look ahead schedule. Provide excel tracker to monitor details tasks that will not be in the scheduleLiaise with other portfolio managers and departments to gather inputs and integrate them into the project schedule

Tool ExpertiseServe as the team expert for scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project (MSP), MSP Online, and PrimaveraReporting and complianceComply with all reporting requirements, including regular updates to MS Project Online and submission of project status reportsConsolidate and extract workload forecasts from GSK scheduling tools to ensure resource availabilityPrepare 13RT formGovernance and review :Participate in gate reviews and governance meetings, providing schedule updates and highlighting key milestonesExtract key milestones for governance or Project Stage Gates to facilitate project planning and execution
