PpJob ID: | Amazon EU SARL (Italy Branch) /p pThis is a 12 Month Fixed Term Opportunity. /p pAmazon Fresh team is looking for a talented Vendor Manager who will be responsible for improving product selection and managing relationships with vendors. /p h3Customer Needs /h3 ul liSupport identification of customer needs through pulling of metrics and providing overviews of industry landscape. /li liContinuously seek information to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to the business. /li /ul h3Vendor Management /h3 ul liAnalyze existing reports to identify retail selection gaps. /li liAudit vendor costs and ensure procurement costs are in line with goals. /li liCreate and manage contractual agreements. /li liPrioritize vendor resources to improve customer experience, product availability and lower prices and costs. /li liBe responsible for creating product knowledge. /li liImplement promotional programs for vendor(s). /li /ul h3Business Operations /h3 ul liReview and analyze vendor output metrics to make decisions regarding pricing, selection, convenience and drive vendors to improve. /li liManage the promotion setup and launch. /li liRegularly audit all vendor elements, perform deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes and make decisions based on data. /li liAct as an escalation point to respond to customer needs for vendor(s). /li liEducate vendor(s) on tools, processes and resources. /li /ul h3Automation Process Improvement /h3 ul liIdentify opportunities to improve retail tools and systems. /li liSimplify or automate tasks to drive improved business performance. /li liManage products from launch to end of life with goal of automating any manual tasks. /li liMay work with tech team to drive process change. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree. /li liFluency in both English and Italian. /li liAnalytical skills, familiarity with data analysis methodologies and high computer literacy, with ability to learn new systems quickly. /li liConfidence in communicating both internally and externally. /li liAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics. /li liExperience manipulating large bodies of data. /li liAdvanced Excel or basic SQL preferred. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
