Mission As a Global Associate Business Controller, you will play a crucial role in partnering with business unit leaders to provide financial oversight and influence operational decisions to optimize performance and achieve strategic objectives. Your key responsibility will involve implementing management control systems to monitor, evaluate, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. Key Accountabilities Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement systems to track progress towards strategic goals and objectives. Analyze performance data to identify areas of improvement and drive operational excellence. Provide regular feedback to business unit leaders on performance against targets and benchmarks. Conduct cost analysis and cost-benefit assessments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Implement cost control measures and monitor cost drivers to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic priorities. Collaborate with operations teams to develop cost-effective strategies for resource allocation and utilization. Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in business processes and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline operations. Lead cross-functional teams in process reengineering initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Establish performance targets and benchmarks for process optimization and monitor progress towards achieving goals. Assess internal control systems to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. Implement risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks. Conduct internal audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Track budget performance and variance analysis, providing insights into areas of improvement or concern. Assist in the development of financial strategies to achieve business objectives and targets. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the potential impact of strategic decisions on business performance and profitability. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives aligned with overall corporate objectives.
