Job Description
The DPQL deploys the Somfy Quality Strategy adapted to the Business Line Access & Security in development projects. Integrated into project teams, it is responsible for the Project / Product Quality mapping by defining the scope of qualification and quality assurance for parts based on the typology of each project. The scope covers all DPQL missions within development projects, from feasibility/evaluation phases to the series start-up of new products. The DPQL serves as a link and ensures the transition with quality stakeholders at production sites throughout the projects. It provides support to series actors of components and products for modifications or deviations during the production life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that quality is integrated within project teams by deploying necessary tools and methods to meet objectives.
* Manage the development of components and purchased products in relation to suppliers by implementing quality planning (APQP).
* Monitor changes and non-conformities during the production cycle.
* Assist buyers in validating supplier/part feasibility in terms of QCDT during the evaluation phase.
* Identify requirements and support or develop supplier needs.
* Learn all specifications of the offer and translate them into risks.
* Initiate qualification plans during the pre-study and study phases.
* Evaluate quality risks and project impact; assess regulatory requirements.
* Initiate FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for product, process, and suppliers.
* Define after-sales policy with the RQC (Quality Responsible) and test project objectives with the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
* Participate in supplier selection with the project team.
* Ensure monitoring and progress of qualification and functional validation plans during realization.
* Declare product qualification collaboratively with the quality manager.
* Analyze product acquisition process maturity.
* Verify receipt of CE declaration and validate PPAPs with suppliers.
* Conduct GFIS (Global Failure Investigation System) and ISAR (Item Safety Assessment Report).
* Close FMEAs for product and process during the launch phase.
* Monitor reported defects and track corrective actions.
* Prepare and conduct transfer reviews.
* Perform capacity audits of suppliers.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering with confirmed experience in quality project management.
* Knowledge of regulations such as IEC / EN 60335, CEM, ISO 9001.
* Understanding of project development processes.
* Knowledge of statistical tools (specify which ones).
* Mastery of risk management (specify soft or hard skills).
* Fluency in Italian and English is required; French is a plus.
* Soft skills: reactivity, proactivity, persuasion, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
