Senior Financial Accountant

Your new role
As our new Senior Financial accountant, you will be part of Central European Finance & Administration team. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international and supportive. You will be managing a CE organisation, such as Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherland, Portugal or any other new countries in Europe as we expand, you will support the team abroad and collaborate with colleagues from different countries.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
2. Be responsible for monthly and yearly closure of books of accounts as per Group calendar and deadlines
3. Prepare and submit all required tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax laws (including VAT, WHT and statistical reports, among others)…
4. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
5. Ensure compliance to internal Group policies relating to finance functions and fulfil internal requirement such as Cash forecast
6. Coordinate Finance Shares Service Centre in India, supporting queries, having regular dialogue, finding opportunities improvement, managing the performance of relevant teams through feedback and analysis if processes and with other key functions in Ramboll – Group Treasury, Group Tax, transformation team, Group Audit etc
7. Manage non standard F&A transactions
8. Represent F&A in integration process of new acquired company with presence in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherland, Portugal
9. Integrate and harmonize financial systems (ERP, accounting software) across the acquired entities, ensuring smooth data flow and reporting
10. Ensure clear communication with key stakeholders
11. Ensure the successful implementation of new software or tools in compliance with local regulations
About you
12. Fluent in both written and spoken English
13. Degree or bachelor in economics, finance o similar
14. At least 8-10 years experience in the role and in a multinational company
15. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles
16. Confident using ERP software and working with international teams
17. Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills
18. Very good ability in time management, Team coordination, problem solving and precision
