Overview
H-FARM International School Vicenza (H-IS Vicenza) is an IB-certified school located in Vicenza, Italy. The school centers on the H-FARM learning approach and collaboration with local organizations to create future-ready students. We are expanding our teaching team and seeking an exceptional MYP and DP Science teacher from August 2025 to work part time. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.

Qualifications
* A relevant bachelor’s degree and teacher qualification in a related science field (e.g., Science, Chemistry, Physics) from an accredited programme.
* Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA).
* Immaculate police clearance.
Contract
* Fixed-term, with the possibility of extension.
Experience
* Minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a comparable school environment.
* Relevant teaching experience within the subject area(s), preferably in an IB school.
* Specialist skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
* Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage diverse learners.
* Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Fluent English (reading, speaking, writing) at CEFR level C1–C2.

Job Responsibilities
* Establish creative, engaging classroom environments that reflect IB philosophy and the school mission.
* Use flexible teaching methodologies to engage students with diverse learning styles.
* Lead by example, model the IB learner profile, and guide students toward being open-minded, compassionate, thoughtful learners with a global perspective.
* Assess and respond to student abilities and progress; adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
* Prepare lessons, set and mark examinations, write student reports, and develop assessments aligned to IB requirements and the school calendar.
* Use the learning management system effectively.
* Provide timely feedback to students and parents to support learning and progression.
* Support students’ personal development and wellbeing, seeking guidance from the School Counsellor and Programme Heads when welfare concerns arise.
Team and School-wide Responsibilities
* Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, unit planning, assessment development, and improvement programs.
* Share ideas, resources, and tools to improve teaching within the school.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curricula, teaching trends, and digital tools.
* Be an academic and pastoral mentor to a group of students; foster a sense of pride and community.
* Contribute to school activities and events and support the school community.
