PositionBusiness Administration Specialist – Apprentice (Milan)OverviewSiemens Digital Industries drives the digital transformation of discrete and process industries, combining automation, Industrial Edge, software, digital twins, and Industrial AI. The apprenticeship will focus on enhancing personal and professional skills with mentor support.Responsibilities Support finance activities including order entry, change orders, invoicing, credit notes, goods receipt, and stock item control.Co‐operate with Operations teams and cost center managers to monitor and control costs, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets and financial targets.Ensure accuracy of accounting records and commercial documentation in ERP systems such as SAP.Complete month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐end closing tasks, including KPI tracking and monthly postings.Regularly monitor and evaluate project KPIs.Implement and maintain internal risk control standards.Extract data from various tools/systems (e.G., SAP), consolidate and analyse it, and develop, automate, and maintain reporting templates.Analyse the digital skills needed for the finance role in the future and support digitalisation. Requirements Less than 30 years of age in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract.Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management, Economics, Management Engineering or a similar field.Excellent command of Italian and English languages.Aspirations to develop a finance path and grow within the company.Good knowledge of Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Power BI and SAP considered a plus.Finance internship experience considered a plus.Ability to work in a team and view every task from the customer perspective.Role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non‐negotiable cultural element.Eligibility to work in Italy. CompensationThe indicative gross annual salary range for apprenticeship contracts is between €28,475 and €35,700, depending on educational background.
