We are hiring a Business & Data Analyst to join our project team in Munich. You will report directly to the project manager and support various projects with different levels of complexity. You will act as the key business contact and interface between business and IT. Your main tasks will include requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis, and user acceptance testing.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
* Participate in cross-functional working group sessions to translate business requirements into system specifications;
* Assist with the functional documentation of customer business requirements;
* Coordinate development activities and moderate meetings and workshops;
* Analyze data sets to identify anomalies, issues, and resolve discrepancies;
* Conduct user acceptance testing and support investigations of questions, issues, and defects;
* Manage stakeholder expectations and satisfaction in projects;
WHAT WILL HELP YOU TO FULFILL YOUR ROLE
1. A university degree in an IT or analytical field, e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields;
2. 2-5 years of relevant work experience (preferred);
3. Experience in banking and knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services is desirable;
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
6. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SAS, SQL, or similar;
7. Ability to work effectively with management and as part of a team to meet targets;
8. Strong attention to detail;
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
10. Ability to moderate meetings, gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
11. Business proficiency in German and English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
