Ph3Overview /h3 pThe role is reporting directly to the Maintenance Reliability Leader, the Automation Specialist will have to develop the strategy of the industrial automation operating systems of the site to optimize utilization of resources and increasing reliability of the production lines. This role also have to carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities of automation and instrumentation of the site, in order to guarantee a good performance of the production lines; avoiding unplanned downtimes ensuring safety procedures of the company compliance. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop and improve strategy for automated industrial processes, systems and components /li liEnsure high reliability in all automation systems of the industrial site /li liTroubleshooting, diagnosis and repair industrial automation systems to reduce unscheduled downtimes /li liPerform preventive and predictive maintenance in industrial automation systems /li liCollaborate with other departments to ensure automation system reliability, standardization and safety /li liSupport all the potential suppliers during field visits and scope definition. /li liManagement of automation maintenance plans working closely with the Electrical Reliability SME and the Reliability Program Owner. /li liPlan automation works of maintenance, operation and safety. Including evaluation of technicians availability, spare parts, etc. in order to carry out the requested work. As well as the task of dealing technical specifications relating to the work to be carried out in order to request quotes and offers from multiple suppliers in the planning / feasibility phase of the activity /li liAnalyze system performance and suggest modifications or upgrate /li liDevelop and maintain technical documentation for industrial automation systems /li liCollaborate with Electrical Specialist and Electrical Coordinator to monitor the obsolescence of components and software; set spare parts strategy /li liPartecipate actively in continuos improvement initiatives (RCA, Kaizen, /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh technical education on automation of production processes /li liBackground : Engineering, Electrical, Automation, Computer Science or similar field /li li3 – 5 years of experience as Automation Specialist / Engineer /li liKnowledge PLC (Siemens-ABB), Scada, HMI, frequency drives, PI Vision, automation programming /li liSolid understanding of computer programming and software developmentil /liliSolid understanding of electrical diagram /li liStrong orientation to problem-solving /li liLanguage : English and German is a plus /li /ul pCelanese is a global leader in chemistry, producing specialty material solutions used across most major industries and consumer applications.
