We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our Bell 407 airframe and ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver high‑quality transportation services to patients.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screenings, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update equipment tracking logs, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.
Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, and adhere to company policies and procedure while complying with information security standards.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bell 407 maintenance experience
Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with at least six months of helicopter maintenance experience within the last 24 months
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P;) license
Valid State‑issued driver’s license
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning
Willingness to travel between bases to support maintenance needs
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
Experience under CFR Part 135
Autopilot maintenance experience
Avionics and electrical repair experience
Airbus maintenance experience
