As a Microsoft Business Applications Sales Specialist Manager, you will build and lead a team of high-performing Solution Specialists responsible for thought leadership and customer business process transformation. You will coach and empower your team to engage effectively with C-Suite stakeholders and build relationships with Business Decision Makers (BDMs) in top customers to help them achieve their business goals. Your role includes helping your team develop pipelines and close deals by providing industry-relevant business value insights and leading solutions that enable end-to-end business transformation. You will model behaviors aligned with Microsoft's values of integrity, culture, and results, maintaining high sales discipline and forecast accuracy. Coaching your team to remove blockers, overcome objections, and articulate Microsoft's value proposition will be key. You will foster clarity in execution and energize your team towards achieving business objectives. Additionally, you will learn how Microsoft supports managers in leadership and how the company enables innovation and customer success.

* Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Solution Area Specialists Manager include:
* Ensure Account Planning and CXO / BDM Engagement
* Validate and coach quality of Account and Quota Retirement Territory Plans monthly.
* Observe and improve team presentation skills for compelling proposals aligned with customer transformation plans and business value.
* Enable and coach the team for strong BDM / C-Suite connections, utilizing business value insights and industry-relevant use cases.
* Leverage partner ecosystems and Customer Success teams to support full solution selling.
* Facilitate customer discovery and envisioning sessions to identify business challenges and prioritize solutions with clear business value.
* Drive sales execution excellence aligned with modern customer journeys to increase win rates.
* Coach the team in business value selling and customer advocacy to secure references and industry-aligned value propositions.
Qualifications
* 6+ years of solution or services sales experience, or related technology sales or account management experience.
* 3+ years of people management experience.
* Deep understanding of business solutions, ERP & CRM, and their impact, including Microsoft’s cloud platform and competitors.
* Experience with business value selling methodologies such as Design Thinking, Business Value Engineering, Challenger sales, etc.
* Experience selling into industries like Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, or Government, understanding their security, regulatory, and compliance needs.
* Strong relationship-building skills with decision makers.
* Able to challenge perspectives and reframe perceptions about Microsoft solutions’ value.
* Excellent presentation, communication, and whiteboarding skills. Proven leadership in coaching and inspiring sales teams.
* Strong negotiation skills.
