Job Description Summary The Senior Data Manager ensures DM tasks for the assigned studies are performed on time and within budget, partnering with Sponsors, clinical, and statistics teams to develop data collection specifications from all data sources. The Senior Data Manager manages in-stream data flow activities, delivers a quality database according to the project plan, leads and drives the DM team, and acts as the reference point for the Sponsor and the project’s data management lead. Role The Senior Data Manager ensures timely and budget-compliant DM tasks, collaborates with sponsors and internal teams to develop data collection specifications, manages data flow activities, and leads the DM team. Key Responsibilities Drive achievement of project milestones from start-up to database delivery. Provide Data Management input into protocols. Design CRFs and guide their approval process. Develop Data Management and Validation Plans with study team input. Validate databases and perform computerized checks, including SAS listings. Define and execute UAT plans for EDC studies, ensuring quality eCRFs. Respond to eCRF Helpdesk issues promptly. Prepare CRF completion and data-entry guidelines, and train staff. Perform term coding, raise queries, and manage data cleaning. Create and test import programs for external data. Perform data reconciliation and monitor data progress reports. Define QC plans, lead database releases and freezes. Manage DM team, assign work, and prioritize tasks. Track progress against the study plan and escalate issues. Contribute to training and follow SOPs and industry standards. Recommend process improvements and develop standards. Maintain communication with the study team and sponsor, represent DM in meetings. Perform additional activities as needed. Qualifications & Experience Degree in life sciences or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Data Management processes, industry guidelines, coding dictionaries, and DM systems. Technical Skills & Soft Skills MS Office, professionalism, trustworthiness, prioritization, quality focus, willingness to learn, teamwork, agility, conflict management, problem-solving, technical writing, networking. Education BSc in Biology, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy.
