The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that the site operates to the highest Environmental Health Safety standards, while ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. The Site Manager is accountable for developing and implementing strategies to continuously improve performance across all these areas. /ppKey functions reporting into this role include Environment, Health Safety, Production, Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Logistics. /ppThe purpose of this position is to lead the team responsible for the production of chemical batches of chemical products for electroplating applications in the fashion and precious goods industry. /ppThis position is located in Agliana (PT), Italy. /ph3bWhat will you be doing? /b /h3pSite Operations Leadership /pulliResponsible for the overall management of site operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, and utilities, ensuring production targets are achieved in terms of volume, quality, cost, and delivery. /liliDrive process optimization to improve efficiency, yield, and cost performance. /li /ulpHealth, Safety, Environment Quality Compliance /pulliEnsure full compliance with applicable HSE regulations and chemical industry requirements, promoting a strong safety culture and managing risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions. /liliMaintain management systems in line with ISO and IATF certifications and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits in collaboration with the Quality function. /li /ulpPeople Performance Management /pulliLead, develop, and motivate the Operations Management Team to achieve targets in quality, HSE, productivity, and customer satisfaction. /liliEnsure appropriate staffing, training, and competency development while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. /liliManage the annual operations budget and quarterly forecasts, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions. /liliDevelop business cases for capital investments and deliver projects on time and within budget, supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, process optimization, and waste reduction. /li /ulpCross-Functional External Collaboration /pulliAct as the primary interface between the site, headquarters, and regional functions. /liliCollaborate with Sales, Technical Service, and Supply Chain teams to support customer needs, and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external partners to optimize site and regional operations. /li /ulh3bWho are You? /b /h3ulliDegree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. /liliProven experience in a site management or production management role within the chemical industry demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. /liliStrong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, preferably related to electroplating or surface treatment. /liliSolid understanding of HSE and regulatory requirements in a chemical production environment. /liliExperience managing teams and complex operations. /liliProven application of Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies. /li /ulpWe understand that not all candidates may meet the requirements listed above.
