Ph3Position Overview /h3 pThe Production Planner is a key member of the Supply Planning team within the Supply Chain organization. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed plant production schedule and for working with manufacturing, operations, and business planning teams to meet the delivery commitments of the business. The role also coordinates the internal replenishment process with a focus on Italy warehouses and plants associated with Mozzate operations. /p h3Targeted Outcomes /h3 ul liAlign production schedule with the approved supply plan. Support efficient execution of monthly sales. /li liFind inefficiencies in the process and recommend process improvements. /li liLearn operational capabilities and preferences on assets, products, and BOMs. /li liDevelop a working knowledge of SAP and other technical tools to make informed and timely decisions while processing replenishments and creating production schedules. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport ops daily production plan operations. /li liSupport SAP transactions. /li liSupport material validation and production readiness. /li liSupport asset production schedule. /li liResolve customer order issues/exceptions by working closely with Customer Operations Specialists on day-to-day issues. /li liReconcile scheduling issues and report to scheduling management as needed. /li liManage supply and asset network and develop plans that coordinate material movements between plants and assets. /li liMaintain safety stock and/or inventory target values by monitoring inventory levels and coordinating actions with sales on slow moving inventory; control the production to prevent building excess inventory, monitoring metrics. /li liWork closely with Logistics to coordinate replenishment shipments. /li liEscalate replenishment issues to Planning Supervisor and Supply Chain Manager as required. /li /ul h3Team /h3 ul liReports to: Planning Supervisor /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Economics, Supply Chain Logistics or related field.
