General Description Of The Role
The Role is part of the EMEA Distribution Planning Department Team and oversees creating a balanced import and distribution plan for the assigned Products and Markets, ensuring the target stock coverage and service level set, providing short to mid-term visibility required to properly manage the business.
The position is based in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan (Italy) and will report to the EMEA Distribution Planning Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze the Distribution Requirements and create the Deployment plan through TLB (Transportation Load Builder) functionality for the assigned destinations (EMEA/America/APAC) to ensure target stock level
Analyzing and highlighting key issues related to volume variance that may impact supply, discussing with the internal stakeholders (Supply Planning & Logistic team), to solve them
Participate in weekly S&O alignment with the Demand Planning & Customer Service team of assigned markets in EMEA
Join the H2H meeting with the America and/or APAC Distribution Planning Department
Monitor and ensure achievement of target service level and target stock in assigned countries
Planning and optimizing mixed loads considering transportation constraints
Manage and respect quotas for product allocation
Make trade-off across markets on constrained availability based on ABC classification and other variables
Experience, Education & Personal Traits
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management or Engineering or Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in Supply Chain (preferred Distribution Planning and Logistics/CS background).
Fluent in English. Good Italian/French/Spanish is a nice to have.
Prior experience in the FMCG and/or Beverage sector within multinational companies.
Must have knowledge and experience in Planning applications such as SAP-APO, SAP IBP, SAP ECC or S4 Hana, and SAP-BI.
Advanced analytical skills, ability to structure, analyze and solve complex problems.
Comfortable with volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous scenarios.
